so i finally finished the season finale of manifest and i gotta say it was never the best or most well-executed show but in the end it was able to wrap up its story and character arcs as best as it could given the time that it had left and i thought it was pretty nice actually ! but it also makes me feel like we’re no longer gonna find shows like this that are imperfect and continue to be such that’ll have the chance to go on for multiple seasons until it can end on its own terms unless its like a mainstream megahit sensation prestige show with like ten hours of storytelling per season while shows that are actually so good or shows with so much potential but aren’t as popular get cancelled with zero resolution whatsoever all the while the creatives behind it get fcked over so the studios save money i guess
